The online website https://venusrentmilos.gr of the company “STRATI G. – STRATIS K. O.E.”, with the distinctive name “Venus Rent a Car”, provides to the Customer (User) the services described on the page of the cars rental, which are subject to the following Terms of Use:

1.General Booking Terms

1.1 This Agreement does not constitute a contract for the supply of vehicle rental services. The Rental Services (the “Rental Services”) will be supplied under a separate rental agreement to be entered into with the member of the Venus Rent a Car System who provides the vehicle (“the Local Supplier”) and you will be required to enter into this unless you are already an Venus Rent a Car Preferred customer when you pick up your vehicle. You will also be subject to standard Venus Rent a Car conditions as to capacity to drive.

1.2 For Pay Now bookings you are entering into this Agreement with Strati G. – Stratis K. O.E. “Venus Rent a Car” (see Terms & Conditions for Pay Now set out below).

2.Terms and conditions for Pay Now

2.1. By ticking the accept button within the booking process you are entering into, and are bound by the terms and conditions of, only this Agreement with “Venus Rent a Car”. By entering into this Agreement, you are agreeing to purchase a face value voucher (“voucher”) from “Venus Rent a Car” for the amount of the rate quoted by “Venus Rent a Car”. “Venus Rent a Car” will issue the voucher and send it to you by email and will book the Rental Services. You may exchange the voucher for the Rental Services with the Local Supplier where you pick up your vehicle on presentation of the voucher.

2.2. You must pay the quoted charges relating to the voucher which on redemption entitles you to the rental services in full at the time you make your booking on the website. The charges will be deducted from your credit, charge or debit card at the time of booking. The voucher will not be issued until payment has been made in full. By entering into this agreement you expressly authorize “Venus Rent a Car” to debit your credit, charge or debit card the amount as shown on your voucher and the additional charges (if any) referred to in this Agreement.

2.3. The voucher you have purchased may be exchanged for the rental, inclusive of VAT, of the selected vehicle for the dates you have booked, along with the items specified as being included in the price when you make your booking at the rates quoted to you by us. You can view these items by following the “Your quote includes” link from the “Quote” page.

2.4. All other optional equipment and services (eg special equipment, additional drivers, optional insurances, fuel, additional days) will incur additional charges, which you must pay directly to the Local Supplier either when you pick up or return your vehicle. Additional charges may also be made by the Local Supplier when you pick up your vehicle if you are under the age of 25 (Young Driver Surcharge).

2.5 If you cancel your booking up to 48 hours before the day your rental was due to begin, no cancellation fee will be applied and you will get a full refund.

2.6 If you cancel your booking less than 48 hours before the day of your rental, you’ll receive a full refund minus the lower of i) 1 day of your booking or ii) fixed fee.

2.7 If you do not collect your vehicle and do not cancel your booking, there is no refund and the full amount of the voucher will be kept as compensation.

2.8 In order to obtain a refund of the amount you have paid for your voucher (where applicable) you must write to info@venusrentmilos.gr requesting the money to be refunded.

Please notice:

The “Venus Rent a Car” website offers the option of online card prepayment or payment at the rental station. This card should be under the name of the main driver, who must present it while picking up the car. “Venus Rent a Car” accepts credit / debit cards: American Express, Eurocard / MasterCard, Visa, Discover and Diners Club. Prepaid/Electron/Maestro cards are not accepted.

The card will be approved at the rental counter and will be used as a guarantee.

If the payment card is not authorized during the pick-up procedure, the rental will be automatically cancelled, and the relevant cancellation fee will apply.

3.Changing Bookings

3.1 Subject to availability and the restrictions in clause 3.2 below, you can change your booking up to 48 hours prior to picking up your vehicle via this site or at any time up until the time of the rental by sending an email to info@venusrentmilos.gr. Subject to the conditions set out below, you can use your voucher as payment for these alternative services.

3.2 Changes to your booking are subject to the following restrictions:

a) If you change a booking and the charges for the Rental Services are greater than the face value of your voucher, you will be charged the difference at “Venus Rent a Car” then-current rates and the additional amount will be payable at the time of modification.

b) If the cost of the changed booking is less than the cost of the face value of the voucher, NO REFUND will be made.

No refund due if the rental costs less than the prepayment.

4.General

4.1 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions reduces your statutory rights relating to a refund.

4.2 “Venus Rent a Car” as appropriate will be responsible for losses suffered by you as a result of “Venus Rent a Car” breaching this Agreement where such losses are a foreseeable consequence of the breach in the circumstances of the case. Losses will be foreseeable where they are in “Venus Rent a Car” and your contemplation at the time the booking is made. “Venus Rent a Car” is not responsible for indirect losses which happen as a side effect of the main loss or damage and which are not foreseeable by “Venus Rent a Car” and you (such as loss of profits or loss of opportunity).
